Politics is a tricky thing; FJC makes a valid point because apparently he is one of a few who follows what’s going in the law. However, many of us don’t have the time to disect and understand why certain things occur and we’re quick to judge based on personal judgment. If you believe in Obama, then believe that he’s doing the best thing for this country. I’m not saying follow him blindly, but you cannot pick and choose base on personal feelings or opinions. In addition, he is the leader of the true free world, and whether you like it or not, he, being the President of the U.S., also has to stand up for the freedoms of people all over the world because that’s who we are. It’s unfortunate that we have many problems in the U.S., but we cannot turn our back on the world just to focus on our problems. That’s selfish and would hurt our country more than it would help if our President thought that way. It’s just the way things are since we are a super power; we’re a role model for the entire world and we have global obligations as well.

I suggest you read Senate Bill Resolution 85, voted on approx 3-weeks before the POTUS made his decision to support the no Fly Zone, this proves that he did inform Congress, and it actually mentions Lybia specifically, it was voted on.

I voted for and supported Obama however I think what’s wrong with this country is they wanted a quick fix to this country problems that took 8 years and the incompetence of corporate america and Wall Street to create our horrible economy and when they didn’t get it now they’re slamming the president and I have to say that I disagree with the fact that the US is in Libya now b/c they didn’t threaten or attack us I think the US needs to stop getting involved with other countries a lot of times they’re a bunch of ingrates who don’t even appreciate the intervention. US needs to worry about the US and getting our country back on track with jobs, infrastructure, etc. to make this country what it once was. There is no such thing as a quick fix to any problem. I think his focus should be creating jobs, gtho out of Iraq, the healthcare thing while it’s a good idea and everyone should have access to affordable care no one realizes how this can also inflate the budget and I’m a democrat and I say that. You can promise care to all and then increase costs and premiums.
