That’s the title of Juan Ciuro’s autobiography. It is well written and most of all, it’s a fun read. The most entertaining aspect was his explanation of his fear of horses and the outcome (jeje). It does have its serious side with life experiences which have changed him such as having an openly gay brother in the 70s and his detailed description on his revenge of the Studio 54 owner Steve Rubell for not being picked to enter the club was fascinating.
Like the acceptance of the title (which is both a humorous description of his upbringing and homage to his father who called him that on a daily basis.), you have to have a sense of humor.
I am no professional reviewer but I do know what entertains me. I’ve read it several times. Whenever I felt like I need to be cheered up it’s my source of joy. I highly recommend you do to check out the book especially if you support Latino writers. If you have any questions just call him, his number is the introduction!
