Finally, a show about Latinas. YES! And…they’re maids. Oh.

Desperate Housewive‘s creator, Marc Cherry is bringing four Latina maids to ABC in an hour-long series titled, Devious Maids. It’s an adaptation of the Televisa novela, The Disorderly Maids Of The Neighborhood.

    A tv show about Latinas — VERY smart move…..a tv show reinforcing stereo types about Latinos….NOT SO SMART MOVE!

    This only enforces the stereotypes Latinas have had in film & TV. We must write someone about this foolishness…Marc Cherry cannot make money based on the negative portrayal of Latin@s. Ya basta!
