How J.Lo achieves her popular style

It looks like the name “Jennifer Lopez” is on everybody´s tongue, not only because of the controversy around her dancer boyfriend (who is younger than she is and has been rumored to be getting paid for his role), but also because JLo’s style is more popular than ever, even in her 40s. Harper’s Bazaar’s February 2013 cover and photo shoot of the Puerto Rican beauty is a compilation of strength and beauty; her particular characteristics are showcased in every page of the fashion mag. One word that describes all of the photos: beautiful! But how does JLo achieve her look?

JLo’s skin tone is a honey-tanned color that she likes to match with her clothing. It is common to find this singer and actress wearing clothes from the same palette of her skin tone: gold, beige, brown, cream, are central to getting her spectacular look.

Harper’s Bazaar

In terms of her hair, Jennifer has been using this soft look for the last two years; she uses her hair long with natural waves and usually with a center part – the best hairstyle for round faces because it highlights the jaw and makes the face look less rounded. She also has some blonde highlights that illuminate her face and create an illusion of longer hair.

It looks like this Latina wants to show all her sexiness achieving a look that accentuate her hips, the most prominent body part on this gorgeous singer. And now she is showing off her curves in a sexy scene in her new movie “Parker” with Jason Statham. She is very serious when it is time to work out, and after giving birth to her children has been extra committed to staying in shape.

Everybody loved her gown at The Golden Globes’ Red Carpet because the Zuhair Murad dress fit perfectly to her body type, showing her curves with a mermaid style. Even though this is Hollywood and JLo probably has many people helping her with her appearance, she is making a new statement showing more of her natural beauty and highlighting how beauty is all about enhancing your own skin tone, curves, and hair.
