On Tuesday night, Twitter blew up about San Antonio mayor Julian Castro’s stirring speech at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday. It also blew up because of all the comparisons between the Democrat and Late Night talk show host Jimmy Fallon.It’s true. The two bear more than a striking resemblance. Wanting to capitalize on this, the comedian decided to do his own Julian Castro impersonation on his show.
In the bit, Fallon jokes about how Julian Castro and his twin brother Joaquin once switched places at an important speech. He also takes a well-deserved shot at the state of Arizona, and gently mocks the accent of the lovely Sophia Vergara. Take a look:

Fallon is Black Irish all the way. Castro is a mestizo with heavy Native American / Mongol features. If anything Fallon has more in common with Marco Rubio who is of Ibero-Celt stock.

Maybe they is brothers from another mother? That happens a lot in the Latino community.
Fallon is pandering because he has a Latino man crush on Castro and wants him on his show for a liberal love “see how un prejudice I am as a white man” FEST. That’s all.
