Join us for a “Preparados Para El Fin Del Mundo” Twitter Chat with Nat Geo Mundo

El mundo, tal como lo conocemos, llega a su fin…es hora de prepararse. Are you ready?

With the Mayan Apocalyptic date of December 21, 2012 fast approaching, the world may end as we know it and one group of people, known as “preppers,” are preparing. The possibilities include natural disasters like earthquakes, massive solar flares, man-made catastrophes and nuclear winters. ¿Estás Preparado?

Join Nat Geo Mundo and Being Latino to celebrate the launch of “Preparados para el Fin del Mundo”. The series explores the lives of otherwise ordinary Americans who are preparing for the end of the world. Being Latino is so glad to be working with a network like Nat Geo Mundo, which inspires Latino families to expand their horizons through high-quality educational entertainment about the world that surrounds them, and we can’t wait to discuss the series with you.
During our “End of World” twitter chat, we’ll be discussing the unique beliefs, motivations and strategies that these preppers go through. It’ll be an exciting chat as we explore the possibility of “el fin del mundo” – the end of the world. Are you a believer?

What’s an end of the world party without a prize package that includes an end of the world survival kit? Irrelevant. And that’s why we’re giving away 10 small survivor kits along with a grand finale prize: The ultimate #Preparados prize basket.

This basket is guaranteed to keep you safe during a great worldwide catastrophe! Don’t miss your chance. You’ll truly be prepared with this.

We can’t wait to share your ideas and thoughts on this very interesting topic and group of over-prepared individuals. Save the date and join us on Thursday, December 13th at 8pm ET and let us know si están #Preparados or not.
