Eva Longoria sat down with Katie Couric on Good Morning America to talk about the end of her long-running hit show, Desperate Housewives. Asked about her fondest memory, she responded:
“I remember just the entire Latino community [her character] embracing Gaby and Carlos and going, ‘They’re affluent, and they don’t speak with an accent, and they are educated, and they’re living the American dream.’ So that was really great to be that role model in television,” she said.
Her next move, aside from her political activism, is as co-executive producer for the upcoming show, Devious Maids.

Favorite Eva quote, “He’s not black, he’s French.”
Longoria and “political activism” is the same as what Chef Boyardee or the Olive Garden is to fine Tuscan Italian food! Katie Couric? You have to be kidding me!
The only Latinos Katie Couric knows are the pool boy and her maid.
About time that crappy show is over
She is amazing… fame and fortune have not derailed her from her roots and for what she stands for!
