The Center for Disease Control launched a new anti-smoking campaign, Tips from a Former Smoker, which features actual former smokers. These former smokers suffer from various diseases including cancers, heart attacks, strokes, asthma and Buerger’s disease due smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke. Their compelling stories send a powerful message: Quit smoking now. Or better yet — don’t start.

  4. If the government is all about safety and banning things that are dangerous then why is this still legal? I can get a ticket for not buckling my seat belt while driving but I can kill myself and everyone around me slowly with tobacco smoke..sounds hypocritical to me.
