In light of continued concerns over account privacy, the social networking giant Facebook, is launching new security features. Some of the changes are already available and others will be launched over the coming days and weeks. The changes include the following:
- · E-mail or text message when your account is accessed from a computer or mobile device you haven’t used before
- · Verification methods for simultaneous log-ins
- · Ability to check access information about the latest log-ins
As online social networking increases in popularity Facebook faces the challenge of keeping users happy so they don’t move on to the next big thing leaving Facebook facing decreasing ad sales.
