Using Facebook to Stop the Raping, Kidnapping, Beheadings and More in Juarez

I’ve stressed over and over that Facebook has so much more functionality other than serving as a platform for mindless activity.

The people Juarez, Mexico know that Facebook is a valuable tool and they are using this tool to help stop the gruesome crimes that occur on a regular basis in the world’s most dangerous city.

They have begun creating groups, fan pages and events to fight against the violence. These groups have seen significant growth to date, and has been one of the primary points of bringing awareness to the world of what is happening in Juarez and how EVERYONE can help!
