Hey Android users, remember the days of being annoyed as your iPhone-user friends uploaded photos with cool lighting and coloring. You may have even poked a little fun at their photography ‘skills.’ Well, you were probably just a little jealous that you couldn’t do the same, but as of yesterday Instagram, the popular photo-filtering and sharing app, is Now Available for Android OS 2.2+. Yes, now you too can take fake cool photos that Blackberry loyalist will envy.
The app will work with devices running Android 2.2. It promises custom-designed filters and borders, front and back camera support, the new Lux photo-editing feature, and instant sharing to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Foursquare. Also Instagram said that Flickr support is coming soon. You can download it on your phone at Google Play.

Yes!!!
All the Android needs now is the Pinterest App.
I agree, Regina!
It’s 13 MB. If I download one more app, even if it’s only a few hundred KB, I’ll get that annoying “storage space running low” notification. Besides, all this time without Instagram means that a lot of us Android users ended up using some of the alternatives, like LittlePhoto.
Yeah, I don’t think I’ll be downloading. 13MB is a bit too much for my first generation MyTouch. LOL!! I have FXCamera and it’s pretty awesome anyways and has that instagram style feature among others.

Pixlr-o-matic is better as far as filters go. I just like using instagram to annoy the crap out of the iphone nay-sayers
