Latinos: Evolution Beyond Low-Riders and Hoopties (Part 1)

Latinos are by far the most diverse single ethnic group in the United States. Despite our rapid growth and HEAVY influence on culture in the United States, when it comes to automobiles, we are often portrayed in main-stream media as a group of people who drive around in low-riders suped up with hydraulics and Virgin Mary paint jobs.

We know that this is not realistic for the vast majority of us.

Latinos are continually aspiring, working our way up in the educational world, taking over the corporate space and doing our best to create the best opportunities for our offspring. Because of that, our automotive choices really reflect a automobile that is best suited for our true intentions and lifestyles. Because of that, there are a plethora of other choices that we now can select from. In this piece we’ve identified an automobile that combines the needs of the person who wants something affordable, that can be used for family time but also has the swag for a night out on the town.

The Nissan Pathfinder gives owners the functionality they crave during “family time”, due to its space and new technology, but its premiumness also helps to keep couples feeling hip and cool when they need it for their “own” time.

For now, we’ll concentrate on the exterior sexiness of this ride.

The new Pathfinder definitely is a sleek and unique ride with the following attributes:

  • 18” Aluminum-Alloy Wheels
  • Dual Power Outside Mirrors
  • Rear Black Privacy Glass

In part two, we will speak to the interior as well as some of it’s awesome safety features.

What do you think is the better-suited vehicle for you, a low-rider or the new Pathfinder? :)
