Three days ago, Blackberry users discovered that the services they take for granted on a daily basis: e-mail and BBM. First, it started in Europe, the spread to South America and has finally reached the U.S. and Canada.
It turns out that the cause of this outage was a backlog of emails sent to Europe. While this is an inconvenience to Blackberry owners, they temporarily don’t have to worry if their cell phones are killing them.
This outage has also inspired humorous responses on Twitter such as:
@Evil_Dumbledore: Dear Blackberry, I think it’s nice that you’re honoring Steve Jobs’ death with a 3 day silence.”
