This week’s Top list will focus on the Top 5 Latino Actors
1. Jose Ferrer
A Puerto Rican actor was best known for his role as Cyrano de Bergerac. He became the first Latino to win an Academy Award for Best Actor in the movie Cyrano de Bergerac in 1950, although he had won an Academy Award in 1948 for his supporting role in Joan of Arc. He is also the only performer to be nominated for a Tony, Oscar and two Emmy nominations for playing the same character, Cyrano.
2. Anthony Quinn
A Mexican actor was the first Latino to win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in Viva Zapata in 1952. He won his 2nd Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of the painter Paul Gauguin for the movie Lust for Life in 1956. He won several Academy Awards and was also nominated for a Golden Globe.
3. Benecio Del Toro
A Puerto Rican actor and producer won his first Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for the movie Traffic. He won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor and a Screen Actors Award for Best Actor for the same movie. His performance is thought to be in the movie 21 Grams.
4. Javier Bardem
A Spanish actor who has several awards that includes an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award. He was nominated for an Oscar in 2000 for Best Actor in the movie Before Night Falls.
5. Fortino Mario Alfonso Moreno Reyes
A Mexican actor and comedian better known as Cantinflas. He has a successful career in film that included a Hollywood movie named Around the World in 80 Days in 1956. It earned him a Golden Globe for Best Actor for a musical or comedy. He was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
