Chilean President gives gays the "ok"

Conservative Chilean President, Sebastian Pinera, has sent a proposal through to Congress which if accepted will allow gay couples to enjoy the same rights as non-gays in the country. Many of the country’s people believe that the conservative President is feeling the pressure from neighbors (such as Argentina) who have recently legalized gay marriage and/or civil union.
